PRE SPOL BD-FC-18003
(1) At the lower end of the push-pull cable (1), remove the cotter pin (3), washer (2) and pin (4) from the lever assy (12). Discard the cotter pin (3).
(2) Remove the bolts (11) and the washers (10).
(3) Keep the clamps (9) installed on the push-pull cable (1).
(4) At the upper end of the push-pull cable (1), remove the cotter pin (3), washer (2) and pin (4). Discard the cotter pin (3).
(5) Record the position of the upper end of the push-pull cable (1) to install it in the same position.
(6) Removal of the lockwire:
(7) Loosen the push-pull cable nuts (8) and (5).
(8) Keep the washers (7) in position.
(9) Remove the push-pull cable (1).

POST SPOL BD-FC-18003

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the slats are in the fully retracted position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005).
(4) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS or 98D27803500002 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap and slat control lever on panel 114VU.

(a) Cut, remove and discard the two lockwires (6). (7) Loosen the push-pull cable nuts (8) and (5).
(8) Keep the washers (7) in position.
(9) Remove the push-pull cable (1).
