WARNING:

- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the flap/slat control lever (panel 114VU) to tell persons not to operate the flaps.
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
Subtask 57-53-00-860-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the flap/slat control lever (panel 114VU) to tell persons not to operate the flaps.
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever on the panel 114VU.
Subtask 57-53-00-865-113-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Extend the flaps fully (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008). (2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever on the panel 114VU.
C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the flap track 3 at zone 532(632).
(2) Remove the access panel 532AT ( 632AT) and the flap track 3 fairing 532CB ( 632CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
(3) Remove the access panel 587AB ( 687AB), in the bottom skin at track 3.
(4) Put the LIGHT SOURCE - SPARK-PROOF adjacent to the inspection area.
Subtask 57-53-00-010-077-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the flap track 3 at zone 532(632).
(2) Remove the access panel 532AT ( 632AT) and the flap track 3 fairing 532CB ( 632CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
(3) Remove the access panel 587AB ( 687AB), in the bottom skin at track 3.
(4) Put the LIGHT SOURCE - SPARK-PROOF adjacent to the inspection area.
D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the flap track 3 at zone 532(632).
(2) Remove the access panel 532AT ( 632AT) and the flap track 3 fairing 532CB ( 632CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
(3) Put the LIGHT SOURCE - SPARK-PROOF adjacent to the inspection area.
Subtask 57-53-00-110-081-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the flap track 3 at zone 532(632).
(2) Remove the access panel 532AT ( 632AT) and the flap track 3 fairing 532CB ( 632CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-004).
(3) Put the LIGHT SOURCE - SPARK-PROOF adjacent to the inspection area.
E. Preparation for Inspection
(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:

(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do the inspection of the area. - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:
- the internal support fitting at track 3
- the inboard and outboard Rib 5 and Rib 6
- the attachment bracket
- the drive bracket.
Subtask 57-53-00-280-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Special Detailed Inspection of Outboard Double-Slotted Flap, Internal Support Fitting at Track 3, Including Attachment Bracket, Drive Bracket and Attachment Structure, Internal and External, LH/RH
(1) Do a special detailed inspection NTM 575329 of:
5. Close-up(1) Do a special detailed inspection NTM 575329 of:
- the internal support fitting at Track 3
- the inboard and outboard Rib 5 and Rib 6
- the attachment bracket
- the drive bracket.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 575300 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.
Subtask 57-53-00-410-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Remove the spark-proof lamp from the inspection area.
(2) Install the access panel 587AB ( 687AB), in the bottom skin at track 3.
(3) Install the flap track 3 fairing 532CB ( 632CB) and the access panel 532AT ( 632AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
Subtask 57-53-00-410-076-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the spark-proof lamp from the inspection area.
(2) Install the access panel 587AB ( 687AB), in the bottom skin at track 3.
(3) Install the flap track 3 fairing 532CB ( 632CB) and the access panel 532AT ( 632AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
A. Close Access
(1) Remove the spark-proof lamp from the inspection area.
(2) Install the flap track 3 fairing 532CB ( 632CB) and the access panel 532AT ( 632AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
Subtask 57-53-00-865-114-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the spark-proof lamp from the inspection area.
(2) Install the flap track 3 fairing 532CB ( 632CB) and the access panel 532AT ( 632AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-004).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the safety barriers.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
