(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap track 4, zone 533 (633).
(2) Remove the access panel 533AT ( 633AT) and the flaptrack 4 fairing 533CB ( 633CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(3) Remove the outboard flap leading edge panel 5 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-62-000-003).
(4) Remove and discard the cover from the RH inspection hole on the front spar.
(5) Make sure that the inspection hole is clear of unwanted material.

E. Preparation of the Inspection Area

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do the inspection of the area.
(2) If necessary, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that there is no TPS layer and if there is a TPS layer, remove it (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap track 4, zone 533 (633).
(2) Remove the access panel 533AT ( 633AT) and the flaptrack 4 fairing 533CB ( 633CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(3) Remove and discard the cover(s) from the applicable inspection hole(s) on the front spar.
(4) Make sure that the applicable inspection hole(s) is clear of unwanted material.

G. Preparation of the Inspection Area

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

4. Procedure
Subtask 57-53-00-280-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection, internally and externally of:

The support at track 4 (RIB14 of the outboard flap included)
The fitting assembly
The pendulum support
The attachment structure.

Do this inspection on the left and right sides for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 575313.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of the damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

Outboard Flap - Inspection ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Use Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) cut to the correct dimensions, to make a new cover for the RH inspection hole.
(3) Install the new cover on the RH inspection hole.
(4) Install the leading edge panel 5 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-62-400-003).
(5) Install the flaptrack 4 fairing 533CB ( 633CB) and the access panel 533AT ( 633AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).

A. Close Access

Outboard Flap - Inspection ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Use Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) cut to the correct dimensions, to make a new cover(s) for the applicable inspection hole(s).
(3) Install the new cover(s) on the applicable inspection hole(s).
(4) Install the flaptrack 4 fairing 533CB ( 633CB) and the access panel 533AT ( 633AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).
