DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

CAUTION: DO NOT APPLY TEMPORARY PROTECTION SYSTEM (TPS) ON THE INSPECTION AREA. IF YOU APPLY TPS ON THE INSPECTION AREA, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Extend the flaps fully (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at outboard flap inboard rib, zone 587(687).

(1) Remove the flap kink-seals (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-000-002).

(2) Remove and discard the cover from the applicable inspection hole.
(3) Make sure that the inspection holes are clear of unwanted material.

E. Preparation of the Inspection Area

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE TASKS ON THE WING TRAILING EDGE:

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do the inspection of the area.
(2) If necessary, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that there is no TPS layer and if there is a TPS layer, remove it (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 57-53-00-280-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Special Detailed Inspection of the Outboard Flap, Inboard Rib, Forward Section Including Roller, Internal and External, LH/RH
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the internal and external surface of the outboard flap at the inboard-rib forward-section NTM 575307.

NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 575300 for the correct repair procedure. If the defect is not included in this repair, you must request a procedure from AIRBUS.

5. Close-up
Subtask 57-53-00-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Use Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) cut to the correct dimension, to make new covers for the inspection holes.
(2) Install the new cover on the applicable inspection hole.
(3) Install the flap kink-seals (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-400-006).

(3) Retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).

(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the safety barriers.
