(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is on the slat/flap control lever.
Subtask 57-53-00-865-103-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008). (2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is on the slat/flap control lever.
C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap track 4, zone 533 (633).
(2) Remove the access panel 533AT (633AT) and the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(3) Remove the outboard flap leading edge panel 5 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-62-000-003).
Subtask 57-53-00-010-072-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap track 4, zone 533 (633).
(2) Remove the access panel 533AT (633AT) and the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(3) Remove the outboard flap leading edge panel 5 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-62-000-003).
D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap track 4, zone 533 (633).
(2) Remove the access panel 533AT (633AT) and the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(3) Remove and discard the cover(s) from the applicable inspection hole(s) on the front spar.
(4) Make sure that the applicable inspection hole is clear of unwanted material.
Subtask 57-53-00-110-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE below the applicable wing trailing edge at flap track 4, zone 533 (633).
(2) Remove the access panel 533AT (633AT) and the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-001).
(3) Remove and discard the cover(s) from the applicable inspection hole(s) on the front spar.
(4) Make sure that the applicable inspection hole is clear of unwanted material.
E. Preparation for Inspection
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do the inspection of the area.
(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:

(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:
- the external surfaces of the outboard flap upper and lower skins
- the front spar fitting.

A. Detailed Inspection of Outboard Flap, Internal Support at Track 4 including RIB15, Fitting at Front Spar and Internal Doubler, LH/RH
5. Close-upNOTE: The inspection procedure must be done at the same time with the inspection procedure for MPD 57531602 (Ref. AMM TASK 57-53-00-220-012).
(1) Examine the external parts of the fitting at the front spar that you can see. Make sure that: - there is no corrosion
- there are no cracks
- the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 575321 for the correct repair procedure.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the leading edge panel 5 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-62-400-003).
(3) Install the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) and the access panel 533AT (633AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).
Subtask 57-53-00-410-071-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the leading edge panel 5 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-62-400-003).
(3) Install the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) and the access panel 533AT (633AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Use Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) cut to the correct dimensions, to make a new cover(s) for the applicable inspection hole(s).
(3) Install the new cover(s) on the applicable inspection hole(s).
(4) Install the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) and the access panel 533AT (633AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).
Subtask 57-53-00-865-104-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Use Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) cut to the correct dimensions, to make a new cover(s) for the applicable inspection hole(s).
(3) Install the new cover(s) on the applicable inspection hole(s).
(4) Install the flap track 4 fairing 533CB (633CB) and the access panel 533AT (633AT) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-001).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
Subtask 57-53-00-942-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
D. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the safety barriers.
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
