1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
Subtask 57-52-00-865-115-A WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008). (2) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable inboard flap.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable inboard flap.

A. Inspection of Inboard Flap, Bottom Surface, Drain Holes and Inspection Holes
(1) Examine the inboard flap, bottom surface drain holes. Make sure that:

Subtask 57-52-00-960-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Examine the inboard flap, bottom surface drain holes. Make sure that:
- there are no covers installed on the drain holes
- the drain holes are not blocked.
(3) Examine the inboard flap, bottom surface inspection holes. Make sure that:
- the covers are correctly installed on each inspection hole
- the covers are in good condition.
B. Replace Defective or Missing Inspection Hole Covers
(1) Remove and discard the damaged inspection hole cover(s).
(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:
(4) Install the new cover(s) on the applicable inspection hole(s).
Subtask 57-52-00-210-068-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove and discard the damaged inspection hole cover(s).
(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:
- the external surfaces around the applicable inboard flap, bottom surface inspection hole(s).
(4) Install the new cover(s) on the applicable inspection hole(s).
C. Inspection of Inboard Flap, Bottom Surface, Drain Holes and Inspection Holes
(1) Examine the inboard flap, bottom surface drain holes. Make sure that:

- there are no rubber grommets installed in the drain holes
- the drain holes are not blocked.
(3) Examine the inboard flap, bottom surface inspection holes. Make sure that:
- the rubber grommets are correctly installed in each inspection hole
- the rubber grommets are in good condition.
D. Replace Defective or Missing Inspection Hole Rubber Grommets
(1) Remove and discard the damaged inspection hole rubber grommet(s).
(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:

(2) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:
- the internal surfaces of the applicable inboard flap, bottom surface inspection hole(s).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Retract the flaps fully (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
Subtask 57-52-00-942-083-A (1) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Retract the flaps fully (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
C. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the safety barriers.
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
