- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.

1. Reason for the Job- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

(2) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(3) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.

(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do the inspection of the area. - DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.
- DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(2) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:
- the upper surface of the outer-wing bottom-skin panel No. 3 (between the rear spar and the false rear spar and between the gear support RIB5 and RIB8).

A. Detailed Inspection of Outer Wing, Bottom Skin Panel No. 3, Upper Surface, Between Rear Spar and False Rear Spar, and Between Gear Support RIB5 and RIB8
5. Close-upNOTE: Make sure the area of the bottom skin panel along the inboard/outboard lower RIB6A foot (between the inner rear spar aft face and false rear spar forward face) is carefully examined.
(1) Examine the upper surface of the outer-wing bottom-skin panel No. 3 (between the rear spar and the false rear spar and between the gear support RIB5 and RIB8). Make sure that: - there is no damage
- there are no cracks and/or scores
- there is no corrosion
- the surface protection is in the correct condition.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the SRM 572111 for the correct repair procedure.

A. Repair of the Temporary Protection System (TPS)
(1) If there is a TPS layer, do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001):

NOTE: Airbus recommends that you always apply a new layer of TPS. This is to make sure that the TPS layer continues to give satisfactory corrosion protection. If, after the check, you think that the TPS layer is in the correct condition, you can apply a new layer as a spray on the existing layer.
(2) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001) and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) to the upper surface of the outer-wing bottom-skin panel No. 3 (between the rear spar and the false rear spar and between the gear support RIB5 and RIB8) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001). (3) If, before the inspection, there was:
- Removal of the TPS layer
- If TPS layer was not applied
- Or cleaning of the inspection area with high pressure water, steam, Solvents and/or cleaning agents apply a full new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) on all the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the applicable access panels:

(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the safety barriers.
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the safety barriers.
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
