A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
Subtask 46-26-32-010-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Get access to the avionics compartment.
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below access door 824.
   (2) Open access door 824.

A. Access to the LEDs of the FOMAX
F Location of the FOMAX LEDs ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) On electronics rack 80VU, on shelf 81VU, get access to the FOMAX.
   (2) Loosen the screw (1).
   (3) Open the protection door (2).
   (4) On the upper right part of the FOMAX:
     (a) The green LED (3) (Power status) is on the left side and the amber LED (4) (Health status) is on the right side.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the protection door (2) and tighten the screw (1).
   (3) Close access door 824.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
