A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Get access to the avionics compartment.
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at access door 824 in zone 128.
(2) Open access door 824.

C. Connect the maintenance electronic device with the LMF in operation to the FOMAX (Ref. AMM TASK 46-26-32-860-801).

4. Procedure
Subtask 46-26-32-610-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get access to the Flight Operations and MAintenance eXchanger (FOMAX) logs with the Local Maintenance Function (LMF).
(1) Make sure that the green LED on the FOMAX is on.
(2) Make sure that the amber LED on the FOMAX is off.

NOTE: There are two LEDs on the front face of the FOMAX. They give information about the boot sequence and the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) status.

ACTION	RESULT
1.Make sure that you started the 072-3175-001 FOMAX LMF or the 072-3175-003 FOMAX LMF or the 072-3175-004 FOMAX LMF on the maintenance electronic device that is connected to the FOMAX.
2.On the LMF main page: Select "FOMAX Internal".	On the LMF: The "FOMAX Internal" page comes into view.
3.On the LMF, on the "FOMAX Internal" page: Select "Export Logs/Data". The log data are automatically saved on the maintenance electronic device (refer to the LMF user guide).

A. Disconnect the maintenance electronic device with the LMF in operation from the FOMAX (Ref. AMM TASK 46-26-32-860-806).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close access door 824.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).

(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
