A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) In the cockpit, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the applicable access panel 550CB ( 650CB).
4. Procedure(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) In the cockpit, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
(3) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the applicable access panel 550CB ( 650CB).

A. De-activation of the Overpressure Protector 46QM (47QM)
(1) Do an inspection of the overpressure protector:
(a) Make sure that you can see the white cross on the burst disk of the applicable overpressure protector.
(b) If you cannot see the white cross on the burst disk of the applicable overpressure protector, continue as follows:
1 Do an inspection of the applicable NACA vent intake (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-47-200-001)
2 Make an entry in the aircraft technical log that the overpressure protector 46QM (47QM) is disconnected.
5. Close-up(1) Do an inspection of the overpressure protector:
(a) Make sure that you can see the white cross on the burst disk of the applicable overpressure protector.
(b) If you cannot see the white cross on the burst disk of the applicable overpressure protector, continue as follows:
1 Do an inspection of the applicable NACA vent intake (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-47-200-001)
2 Make an entry in the aircraft technical log that the overpressure protector 46QM (47QM) is disconnected.

A. Removal of the Equipment
(1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the SAFETY BARRIERS.
