A. Get Access
   (1) Open the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s).
   (3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the control panel(s) of the Cargo Loading System (CLS) to tell persons not to use it.

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-50-00-210-093-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Detailed Inspection of Power Drive Unit (PDU) Roller
   (1) Clean the component interface and/or adjacent area with a VACUUM CLEANER.
   (2) Examine the PDU roller for cracks or other damages.
   (3) Make sure that the rubber of the roller assembly is not loose.
NOTE: Rubber separation is not permitted. Cuts and fissures in the rubber are permitted.
   (4) Use the ES750-51 GAUGE-ENDPIECE to find if the diameter of the PDU roller is less than permitted. As an alternative, you can measure the diameter of the PDU with a caliper.
     (a) Do not use force to push the gage tool over the PDU roller.
     (b) Put the gage tool on the PDU roller:
   (5) Make sure that the roller has a minimum of 70% of its rubber surface.
NOTE: Rubber break-outs from the edges of the roller assembly are permitted.

   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
