B. Get Access
(1) For the location of this component refer to (Ref. AMM D/O 23-71-00-00).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 312.
(3) Open access door 312AR.
(4) Remove the CVR (Ref. AMM TASK 23-71-35-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 23-71-35-020-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Cockpit-Voice-Recorder (CVR) Rack
(1) For the CVR rack with part number S4416F01:
(a) Remove the nuts (14), the washers (13), the screws (12) and the electrical connector (18) from the CVR rack (19).
(b) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector(s) and receptacle(s).
(c) Remove the nuts (17), the screws (15), the washers (16) and the CVR rack (19).
(2) For the other types of the CVR rack:
(a) Remove the nuts (11), the screws (9) and the washers (10) and release the electrical connector (6).
(b) Remove the screws (8) and the CVR-Rack (5).
(c) Remove the nuts (4), the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(d) Remove the dampers (1) and the bonding straps (7).

Subtask 23-71-35-020-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the CVR Rack
(1) Remove the nuts (3), washers (2), screws (1) and electrical connector (7) from the CVR rack (8).
(2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector(s) and receptacle(s).
(3) Remove the nuts (6), screws (4), washers (5) and CVR rack (8).
